Installing GPT4ALL on Ubuntu


 

Quick UI Install Guide 

1)  wget https://gpt4all.io/installers/gpt4all-installer-linux.run

 
2) chmod +x gpt4all-installer-linux.run
 
3) ./gpt4all-installer-linux.run
 
 
4) ~/gpt4all/bin/chat 
 
 
 

Explanation

1) Download the installer file

2) Give the installer executable permissions

3) Run the executable. 

 

4) To start the application every time.



Uninstall

1) cd ~/gpt4all/ && ./maintenancetool

2) rm -rf  ~/.config/nomic.ai && rm -rf ~/.local/share/nomic.ai/GPT4All/
